The Med-Aire Low Air Loss Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement System with Defined Perimeter is designed to be used in the prevention, treatment and management of Pressure Ulcers. This active combination therapy system provides both alternating pressure and low air loss to optimize pressure redistribution, shear/friction reduction, and microclimate control. Digital control unit offers 4 cycle times and adjustable comfort weight settings for optimal immersion and user comfort. It also features 3 diagnostic audio and visual alarms alert for issues with air pressure, the system, or power.
The individuals bladders are easy to remove and replace and the 3-Air cells remain static to enhance comfort. LED and Audible alarms activate when the pressure falls below 10 mmHg. and the Cell-on-Cell design prevents “Bottoming Out” in the event of a power failure, ensuring their safety and comfort. The 8 – LPM (Liters per Minute) pump produces consistent airflow.
This mattress has 20 air bladders, 9 with laser hose to achieve low air loss function helping to keep the user cool and speed recovery. The 8″ cells are constructed with Nylon/TPU that is soft and lightweight, providing comfort to all users. 10″ deep static perimeter tubing surrounds the length of the mattress to help reduce the risk of falls or entrapment. Removable 4 way stretch PU cover is fluid resistant, low shear and vapor permeable helping protect the skin from friction and moisture.
