- Hot Therapy: helps loosen and relax tight muscles or stiff joints, helps prepare muscles and joints for therapy

- Incoherent due to sedation, coma, sleep
- Decreased skin sensitivity
- Circulatory syndromes
- Polyneuropathy
- Hypersensitivity to cold
- Children 12 and under
- Diabetes
