Peter Norman
Co-Founder & CEO
Founder, Peter Norman, began Bellevue Healthcare with the vision of being able to make a positive impact within his local community. Calling Washington home for most of his life, Peter received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Westmont College located in Santa Barbara, California. His strong ties to the Pacific Northwest made it the ideal place to build a company which embraced core values of honesty, integrity and stewardship.
Bellevue Healthcare was built from the ground up with an emphasis on hiring individuals who had a desire to serve while sharing commitment and passion for building a sustainable business model. Nearly the entire Bellevue Healthcare leadership team began working at Bellevue Healthcare upon college graduation in a delivery technician position which allowed them to understand the business with a bottom-to-top, 360 degree view of the organization and customer needs. Most of them have tenures with Bellevue Healthcare of 10 years or longer. It is with the commitment of the leadership team and family-centric atmosphere that has enabled Bellevue Healthcare to flourish within west coast communities, helping endless customers and patients get the equipment and service they deserve.
After 15 years as President, Peter transitioned to the role of Chief Executive in 2016 with renewed focus on growth and expansion. Bellevue Healthcare has a bright and sustainable future helping neighbors within the communities they serve. Peter looks forward to continuing to ensure that Bellevue Healthcare has the needed foundation and infrastructure to continue being an independent and sustainable organization that has the ability to serve customers well into the future.
Joel Gallion
President
Joel was born in Del Rio, TX to an Air Force family and spent the majority of his childhood moving between 8 different states. Joel lives on the Eastside with his wife, Erin, and 4 children. He holds a BA in Economics and Business from Westmont College and an MBA from the University of Washington.
He started working for Bellevue Healthcare as a Delivery Technician. Joel had the opportunity to quickly learn every aspect of Bellevue Healthcare’s core business model and it became evident that he was the ideal candidate to manage the first expansion of Bellevue Healthcare in Tacoma, Washington. Soon after Bellevue Healthcare’s first expansion, Joel was promoted to Territory Manager and then Regional VP. In this role he provided support and oversight for our showroom locations and customers in Tacoma, Lacey, Silverdale, Sequim and Portland.
In 2016 Joel became President of Bellevue Healthcare and today drives the company with the same vision and mission that Peter Norman had instilled within the company at its inception. Leading with care and compassion, Joel is committed to nurturing the small business culture that Bellevue Healthcare was founded upon even in times of rapid growth.
Bryce Schaffner
Executive VP of Business Development
Bryce graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Biology and Business Administration. He began working with Bellevue Healthcare as a Delivery Technician and later helped with expansion efforts in Chelan, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom Counties as Regional VP of Bellingham, Everett and Wenatchee branches.
In 2016 he became Executive VP of Business Development. He is proud to be a part of a company where each individual has the opportunity to make a profound impact on the customers they serve.
Josh Moritz
Executive VP of Operations
Josh holds a degree in International Business with a minor in Marketing which he received from Azusa Pacific University. Josh joined the Bellevue Healthcare team as a Delivery Technician in what was going to be a brief stint while applying for law school. However, after a few months with the company, Josh was so impressed with the direction Bellevue Healthcare was heading and the potential it possessed that he put his plans for law school on hold and committed himself full-time to Bellevue Healthcare.
In 2016 Josh was appointed Executive VP Operations. Josh enjoys the challenge that comes with managing and motivating a group of diverse individuals towards a common goal. His enthusiasm about the opportunity that Bellevue Healthcare has remains just as strong as it was in his early working days. Josh is dedicated to making Bellevue Healthcare the Medical Equipment supplier of choice for the Pacific Northwest.
Bob LaBelle
VP of Rehab Services
Bob a native of Spokane, Washington attended Whitworth College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business. Bob came to Bellevue Healthcare and spent his initial two years at our flagship location in Bellevue before he was selected to launch the first Eastern Washington location, Bellevue Healthcare in Spokane. Since the opening of the location in Spokane, Bellevue Healthcare has quickly become one of the leading DME providers for the Inland NW.As BHC expanded in Eastern Washington and Idaho, Bob was promoted to Territory Manager of the Inland NW where he was honored to serve his hometown and surrounding areas. His commitment to better address the rehabilitation needs of his clients led Bob to obtain his Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification. He now brings his leadership and commitment to service to Bellevue Healthcare’s Complex Rehabilitation team as a VP of Rehab Services.
Jordan Cartwright
Director of Rehab Support
Jordan was raised in Gig Harbor, WA and began in healthcare as a Massage Therapist. After seven years she was ready to explore new ways to assist people and transitioned into Complex Rehabilitation with a local company. Her skills in identifying problems and crafting solutions lead her to become an Analyst.In 2017, she joined Bellevue Healthcare’s Complex Rehabilitation Team where she put her background as an Analyst to work helping BHC establish new protocols to streamline our claim submission process. She was promoted to Director of Revenue Cycle where she continued to improve our processes to reduce errors and processing time to help ensure our customers receive their equipment faster. In 2019 she transitioned back to our Rehab team becoming the Director of Rehab Support.Jordan enjoys the dynamic nature of healthcare and the opportunities that are created for improved customer care. "BHC is on the cutting edge of change. We are customer care driven and always looking for a better way to serve our customers."
Michael Ball
Director of Operations
Michael grew up in Gig Harbor and has called Tacoma home for over fifteen years. In 2008, he joined Bellevue Healthcare Tacoma as a Delivery Technician and quickly transitioned to Lead Delivery Technician. When a new location on the Peninsula opened, he jumped at the opportunity and transitioned into Customer Service while putting his experience with logistics and inventory to work setting up the new warehouse and infrastructure. In time, he returned to Tacoma to become their Customer Service Lead and Training Specialist, a role that supported all of BHC’s South Sound and Peninsula branches.
In 2017 he became the Tacoma Warehouse Manager. In this role he developed systems and processes that brought greater efficiency and function to the Tacoma warehouse. Because of this and his extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of inventory management, he was selected to become the Director of Purchasing and Warehouse Operations in 2018.
Michael looks forward to continuing to evolve with BHC, "I‘ve enjoyed growing with a company that has the customers’ and employees’ best interest in the forefront of its mind."
Danielle O’Malley
Director of Revenue Accounting
Danielle graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After starting her family, she came to Bellevue Healthcare in 2007 with a strong background in finance and quickly became an integral part of our back end processes. One of her main focuses throughout her tenure at BHC has been hospice contracts & billing. She’s especially proud of the work BHC does for the hospice community, as she believes end of life care is just as important and meaningful as healthcare received throughout one’s life. Danielle has centralized our billing processes for contracted programs and oversees our daily operational revenue. She is also responsible for maintaining our city and state licensures and tax obligations. Danielle is grateful to be a part of the growth and development of BHC, and looks forward to providing continued service to our healthcare partners and communities.
Trish Williamson
Human Resources Director
Growing up in a military family, Trish spent many years calling places such as Hawai’i, Guam, Panama, and the Philippines home.
Being immersed in various cultures has molded her ability to appreciate and connect with people from all walks of life as well as embrace and adapt to change. Trish received her bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She also earned her MBA degree in Executive Communication from Baylor University. Sic’em Bears!
Since joining Bellevue Healthcare in 2012, she has effectively executed diverse HR and Talent Acquisition processes to uphold BHC’s Mission. She enjoys aiding team members and building connections with them. Her enthusiasm lies in mentorship, development, and fostering growth, and she is dedicated to a lifelong journey of continuous learning.
Aaron Harding
Northwest Zone Director
Aaron completed his education at Washington State University, where he graduated with a degree in Business Management and Operations. Upon graduating Aaron started his career with Bellevue Healthcare as a Delivery Technician. He fell in love with the industry and the relationships he forged with customers in the community and focused his objectives on learning and implementing efficiency building and team management.That focus and dedication lead him to become a Customer Service Representative, a Store Manager, and later the King County Logistics Manager.
In 2018 Aaron was selected to be the Branch Manager for Bellevue Healthcare’s Portland location where his expertise in logistics brought new growth and opportunity. In 2020 he returned to Washington where he now serves as our Northwest Zone Director.
Zeb Donlan
King County Zone Director
Zeb, a Washington native from Renton, graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham. Starting as a Delivery Technician at our flagship Bellevue location, Zeb recognized the potential of a lasting and meaningful career available with Bellevue Healthcare. By the end of his first year Zeb had advanced to a customer service position.When it was announced that Bellevue Healthcare would be expanding to Bellingham, Zeb, eager to return to his college town moved north to help with the opening. He went on to serve as our Bellingham Branch Manager for eleven years before returning to oversee our King County locations as our King County Zone Director.Zeb truly enjoys working with his fellow employees and the opportunity to serve the customers of our community.
Spencer Rowe
East Outreach Director, ATP
Spencer joined Bellevue Healthcare and began in the same position that all of our management team members have started in: Delivery Technician. He worked part time for our flagship location in Bellevue as he finished his degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Spencer was impressed with the dedication BHC has for their patients and community and upon graduation, joined the BHC team full-time. It wasn’t long before he began receiving management training at our Tacoma branch location in anticipation of our Spokane location opening.
Spencer served as the Assistant Manager in Spokane before being asked to open a new location in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. In addition to leading our Coeur d’Alene team, Spencer is a certified ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) allowing him to serve our Complex Rehab customers.
In 2020, Spencer was selected to be our East Outreach Director for our eastern Washington and Northern Idaho locations: Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Moscow, and Kennewick.
Nick Crawford
East Development Director, ATP
Nick, a Yakima native, moved to Spokane and completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Eastern Washington University. When looking for a career change, a trusted friend recommended Bellevue Healthcare. Nick started working for Bellevue Healthcare of Spokane as a Delivery Technician. Hard work and dedication paid off as Nick has flourished in various positions within the company. He enjoys being a reliable point person for his co-workers, and having the opportunity to outfit all customers with the best medical equipment for their needs.
In addition to his role as the Manager for our Spokane branch, Nick also serves our clients in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP). His dedication to his customers and their needs is evident in his day to day work and customer service, making him a valued member of our team.
In 2020 Nick was selected to become our new East Development Director, where he will support our Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Moscow, and Kennewick teams.
Jorge Uzcategui
Southwest Outreach Director
Jorge was born and raised in Venezuela. He studied at Pacific Lutheran University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after completing his studies, he began his career with Bellevue Healthcare as a Delivery Technician, quickly, transitioning to Customer Service Representative.
He relocated to Bellingham to assist in the opening of a new branch as the Assistant Store Manager. Jorge has been serving the Peninsula communities by managing both our Sequim and Bremerton showroom locations.
In 2020 Jorge was selected to be our Southwest Outreach Director covering the Olympic Peninsula, Thurston County, and Pierce County.
Casey Hayes
Southwest Development Director
Casey was born and raised in Mercer Island, Washington. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Afterwards he enrolled in a program to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). The same day he accepted a job as a Delivery Technician at our flagship Bellevue showroom, he received word he had become a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He decided to give the job a chance and has been with BHC ever since.
Casey quickly transitioned to become a Customer Experience Representative and later went on to be the Customer Experience Lead and Respiratory Department Lead at Bellevue Healthcare’s Headquarters.
In 2017 Casey became the Branch Manager for Bellevue Healthcare Tacoma where he continued to make an impact on our customers. In 2020 Casey was selected to become the Southwest Development Director supporting our Tacoma, Lacey, and Olympic Peninsula branches. In March of 2022, he graduated from Western Governors University with a Masters in Business Administration.
Reggie Ruiz
Oregon Zone Director - Bend
Reggie grew up in Spokane, Washington and attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA where he completed a Bachelors in Public Health. Prior to Bellevue Healthcare he worked as store manager at Just Sports and for the Spokane Regional Health District in community health education. In 2012 he started as a Delivery Technician at Bellevue Healthcare’s Spokane branch. Never one to pass up on a new challenge, Reggie went onto customer service, logistics, and inventory management and served as the Spokane Warehouse Manager and Assistant Branch Manager. “It has been a great decision for me to stick with this great company. I love Bellevue Healthcare’s work culture and enjoy my coworkers.” In 2020 Reggie was selected to lead BHC’s new Bend, Oregon location. He looks forward to getting to know and serving the Central Oregon community that he now calls home.
