CPAP & BILEVEL SETUPS
Yes, we are still offering sleep solutions for customers! Currently, in-store PAP setups are not being offered, but we have transitioned to a remote service model that allows our customers to receive the necessary sleep equipment they need.
In lieu of in-person training, customers will be provided with online videos and resources to familiarize themselves with PAP equipment, functionality and therapy. Once the provided resources have been reviewed by the customer, they will be required to schedule a consultation call with the Respiratory Department to confirm they are comfortable using their equipment.
Any additional questions regarding the setup will be answered over the phone, along with discussions of topics for mask selection such as sleeping habits, personal preference, physician’s recommendation, etc.
Once the customer and our Respiratory Team personnel are in agreement that the customer is comfortable with receiving the equipment, the CPAP device, mask and accessories will be dispensed through Curbside Pick Up. When their setup is ready, the customer’s local branch will call the customer to inform them that the order is ready and set a time for them to come pick up. All signatures for documentation will be handled digitally via our electronic signature program
We continue to be readily available by phone to assist customers with initial setup and to ensure their comfortability with the equipment.

Bellevue Healthcare will continue to offer delivery of equipment as necessary with limitations:
- Deliveries will be done to the customer’s doorstep.
- Deliveries that require setup (for example home care beds), will be done on a case-by-case basis. If we agree to an in-home set up we will require the room where setup is to occur be free of anyone during the set-up. Instruction will be done while maintaining 6-foot spacing.
In light of the evolving situation, additional precautions are being taken for the protection of our team and other customers.
SCREENING NOTICE
As our team is often delivering to vulnerable individuals, hospice, and care facilities, it is imperative that we take steps to protect these customers, their caregivers, and our delivery technicians. To address this, phone screenings questionnaires are now required on all orders before delivery. This includes questions such as:
- Symptoms: Are you or anyone in your household experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, or cough?
- Contact: Have you come into contact with someone confirmed to be infected, or suspected to be infected, with COVID-19?
DELIVERIES TO FACILITIES
As more facilities establish additional precautions for entry in response to the virus, please provide our team with any updated requirements that will allow for successful delivery.
If you are a family member arranging delivery to a facility, please confirm with the facility if any restrictions or additional precautions are required. For example, some facilities are requiring a health pre-screening and we will need to ensure adequate time is allotted to met that requirement before dispatching. We support these steps as they help ensure those entering a facility are healthy and less likely to spread the virus to an at-risk population.

- COVID-19 spreads between individuals in close contact with each other (6 feet) via sneezing or coughing.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- When in public spaces where a mask or cloth covering your nose and mouth.
Precautions and Prevention Strategies for all BHC Branches
- Delivery Techs must wear gloves and masks at deliveries and pickups for the foreseeable future until instructed otherwise.
- All team members must wear gloves when handling equipment.
- All customer facing team members must wear masks.
- All team members are required to have their temperature taken each day. Any team members with an elevated temperature will be sent home.
- All team members are encouraged to wash their hands as frequently as possible throughout the day following proper hand washing procedures as outlined by the CDC Hand Washing Instruction.
- Hand sanitizer is available at all of our locations and we encourage our team to use it frequently -especially before and after each stop or any customer contact.
- Delivery Techs must wipe down the cab of the truck, clipboard, etc with disinfectant wipes. All office staff wipe down your work station with disinfectant wipes.
- All Branches must wipe down all door handles; entry, bathroom, fridge etc with disinfectant wipes at least once a day.
- Social distancing is required during customer interactions and in the workplace.
- Employees should NOT report to work if they have symptoms of a cold or flu.
- Techs and warehouse staff must spray down equipment after pick up, in the truck, with Maxima. Equipment must be sprayed again upon entry to the warehouse dirty area.
