April 2021 –
Bellevue Healthcare was featured in the HME NEWS article “Bellevue Healthcare Looks Inside” highlighting its ATP Apprenticeship Program. The program was established to meet dual needs. One to find a solution to the growing demand for Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) and two, to provide a growth opportunity for current Bellevue Healthcare team members.
“It’s just so representative of who we are as a company – we’re good at identifying people who want to be part of the team long-term and investing in them…We take dedicated individuals who believe in our core values and produce like-minded and well-rounded ATPs.”
As of April 2021, six BHC team members have graduated from the program, completing the RESNA ATP certification, and now serve as full-time ATPs for Bellevue Healthcare. Our two 2021 graduates Trent Rau serving Portland and Cody Huguenin serving King County, Washington are now in the field serving our Complex Rehabilitation customers.
BHC VP of Rehab Services Bob Labelle shared his Bellevue Healthcare career journey in the article. “I came in on the ground floor as a driver. I became an ATP to help the company grow in different markets, and then around the same time, my grandma fell ill with ALS, and that’s when I really understood what it means to be in complex rehab.”
