Comfort Company Acta-Embrace Backrest is a highly customizable backrest that can meet many needs. The integrated trunk supports are attached to a planar aluminum backrest shell and may be adjusted for angle, height, and up to a total of 3″ of width to create a custom supportive shape. The aluminum stays on the backside of the two layer foam pad can be molded to support lumbar, scoliosis, and kyphosis needs.
The Acta-Embrace features a patented custom moldable center section which allows precise contours for any spinal curvature. This offers increased support and comfort to accommodate lumbar, scoliosis, and kyphosis needs. The moldable stays can be removed – molded – replaced without having to remove the foam & cover from the backrest. All done while the user is seated. Moldable aluminum stays are offset from the center, removing pressure points from the spine and allowing for more aggressive molding to either side to support a rotated back.
