Bellevue Healthcare Founder and CEO Peter Norman has been selected for Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 under 40”, which recognizes dynamic and visionary business leaders under 40 years of age who lead organizations in the local community.
Founded in 2000, Peter Norman began Bellevue Healthcare from the garage of a rented house with nothing more than a willingness to take a risk and a vision that incorporated much more than an eye for the bottom line. Working a UPS job at night, Peter spent his days supplying numerous products to adult family homes and looking for a service void he could fill. This led to a chance encounter with a local hospice program who was looking for just that; a service oriented company that had a heart for end of life care. More than seventeen years later his passion for entrepreneurship has remained focused on creating a sustainable business that has a core of honesty, integrity, and stewardship.
BHC opened its first retail showroom in 2004 in Bellevue, Washington and has proceeded to open locations across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The company’s consistent growth earned a place on Puget Sounds Business Journal’s “100 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies” list for seven consecutive years between 2005-2011 and again in 2014.
This is a huge honor for Peter and his entrepreneurial spirit as well as a testament to the over 200 team members who make BHC great each day through an unrivaled commitment to serving.
