The ARJO Sara Stedy is a manual sit-to-stand transfer aid that enables one caregiver to transfer patients safely and with ease. Ideal of every day transfers, the Sara Stedy offers ergonomic positioning from a seated to a standing position. It also delivers enhanced flexibility across patient and resident demographics and clinical needs.
Specifically designed for patients that are unable to mobilise without assistance, but are able to contribute to the action or perform part of the action independently. Throughout its sit-to-stand movement it encourages patients to take an active role in everyday transfers, including transfers from bed to chair, toilet or washbasin.
The Sara Stedy has an innovative pivoting seat opening allowing it to be easily accessible for the patient and requiring minimal handling by the caregiver. The crossbar handle allows patients to support themselves by pulling rather than pushing. An integrated knee support can be used for additional support for patients who can not fully control their leg movements. Additionally built-in seat hand grips allow the caregiver to easily turn the support aid. The frame has easy to adjust, pedal operated chassis legs and casters with total locking feature to keep it stable during transfers.
