Our rental accessibility ramp provides a transportable option to help your mobile device traverse steps, stairs, uneven surfaces and even aid in loading/unloading into your vehicle. Not limited to use with wheelchairs, this ramp can be used with many types of mobility devices from scooters and power chairs, to walkers and rolling walkers.
Available in a range of sizes to accommodate different steps and stair configurations and can support up to 800 lbs. 6′, 8′, and 10′ ramps are all trifolds.
RAMP LENGTH:
The ADA recommends a 1:12 slope, which means that for every 1″ (inch) of vertical rise there should be at least 1′ (foot or 12″) of ramp length (5 degrees of incline). For example: A 6″ rise requires a minimum ramp length of 6′.
